Davis Shaw | Founder & Director
Davis Shaw is a filmmaker with over 10 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor's in Media Production from Georgia College & State University and an MFA in Writing & Directing from the University of Georgia, blending academic foundation with hands-on expertise.
He’s worked as a lead editor for corporate and university podcasts and as a freelance cinematographer. Davis has directed several award-winning shorts, including Buhurt, an action-packed MMA film about a fighter balancing brutal passion with family. Buhurt won Best Film at the Newnan and Hollywood Just For Shorts festivals, Best Georgia Film at the South Georgia Film Festival, and was a finalist in over a dozen other festivals nationwide.
He also wrote and directed the sci-fi tech noir films Digital Hindrance and Aliens Are Not Real. A skilled 3D artist, Davis integrates visual effects and digital environments into his work. He founded Errant Pictures to produce narrative feature films, shorts, and cinematic brand content.
